… I closed the album then closed my eyes. Had it been a year already? It seemed like only yesterday when I came home to an empty house. The house was still empty. Sounds of another time echoed throughout the darkened rooms. It was a warm night for May, much like the night of the accident. It was raining that night too. There were many nights she was out late. I just took it for granted she’d be okay…

We have the knowledge we need to live our lives and without exercising or using that knowledge, we will not become proficient. Pure emotion, whether it is love or anger, is very powerful and sometimes dangerous.

It teaches life, love, and morality which is sorely needed in today’s new world. The theme is old fashioned but fits well into any generation where people’s needs are overlooked. Unconditional friendships are rare. Honesty and integrity are key elements for any relationship to make it survive. There’s sadness, fun, mystery and excitement waiting for the reader. And yes, there’s a happy ending, and that’s not so bad.
